4WD well marked trail to the top. Do not fly by the old observatory. When you get close to the top, there will be a trail that runs back to the south/east. Follow this trail. Pick a spot and fly! Highest point in the southwest. Temps will be roughly ten degrees lower than in the valley due to elevation gain. Grass and bushes to land in. Lot's of rocks as well. Big lift when the winds blow from the south to southwest.
