The island has great cliffs in all wind direction. Accomodations provided by the Landmark Trust. Ferries and Helicopter service from Ilfracome and Clovelly. Long term parking provided at the harbor. The island has a little shop and a great pub. Please check the islands guards about bird protection season. Westwind slope (Perhaps the best in the country) is right next to the old Lighthouse. Northwest slope is Jenny's Cove. The main south slope is perhaps Castle Hill over The Rattles. (Big rocky bowl) Shuter point also gives great southerly flying with easy landing. East flying is pretty good over the Hanmers house flying over the harbour bay. (Perhaps don't fly right over the building) North, pretty rubbish and too much of a walk. Only when desperate.
