The is a great site for sloping with a well defgined rrdge and clean lift. Though not quite as good as other nearby slopes, it makes up for it by ease of access. You can park just where the lane on the Eastern end of the ridge turns from the South to the East - the map marker is dead on the car park. There's a small parking area that can fit a few cars and then it's just a few hundred meters walk West to the best part of the ridge. It's very conveniant and can easily be your local if you live near Crickhowell. You may even catch some thermals out in the valley. A few friendly local fliers soar from here but there is no club as such. Some of the Herefordsgire slopers fly here when wind conditions are not favourable at Garway Hill. There is a flat area next to the car park which is great for flying electrics as it is quite sheltered. IMPORTANT!!! Beware of the riding school nearby, please be courtious and do not fly near the horses and if possible land your model while they pass by, they will appreciate it.
