Very nice bowl facing almost perfectly toward the northeast. Requires NE wind direction, usually during our local "sundowner" conditions in the late afternoon. Fall is one of the more reliable times of year. Named after the rock outcropping at the top of the bowl, and what it's covered with. Landing area is a bit tricky and there are some rocks hidden in the tall grass. Great compression lift when it's working!
