This interesting geological feature, a cresent shaped cinder cone, is locate on the Merrill Ranch Road north of I-40. You can slope in various wind directions; but the SW facing slope is the most fun. This site is not as good a fying site as Sheba Crater (located to the N); but it is worth a look if your are out exploring the area. Roads may be muddy and slick in winter.
